About BRAVIA

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in this case we really have to speak out about Sony’s Bravia! advertisement! The influence of OÏO is obvious, as illustrated in the following two instances:

-If we look at the banner on the http://www.bravia-advert.com/paint/pictures/ Web site, we can see jets of paint « looking alike » to that of OÏO (this site only shows FIXED images in progression).

-Secondly, if you look at the promotional approach: between May 2003 and December 8, 2006, the OÏO Web site (view the former Web page here) posted the following text: "540 litres of paint, 56 colours, 7000 metres of film, 33,000 digitized images, 360 frames per second, a catapult…" Now if we look at the recent page from Bravia, we can see a list of technical components used in the work, "70,000 litres of paint, 358 single bottle bombs, 33 sextuple air cluster bombs, 22 Triple hung cluster bombs, 268 mortars, 33 Triple Mortars, 22 Double mortars, 358 meters of weld, 330 meters of steel pipe, 57 km of copper wire" ;  Therefore, we can draw our own conclusions…

No, but what an imagination these advertisers have…! And how much did Sony have to pay to come up with this?
